This listing is for a set of tubes of vintage Scottish tweed weaving yarns, sold as a single item. We have five tubes between 3.9-4.3 oz, and four tubes between 2.5-2.9 oz. The first five are at or near their original weight, and the other four are around 65% of their original weight. Together they add up to 31.1 ounces including the cardboard tubes. We estimate the total yardage at about 2,900.

These tubes are all unlabeled, so we don't know the exact details, but they are vintage Scottish, woolen-spun weaving yarn from the mid-20th century. It is a somewhat coarse and hairy wool, in a light brown color. It appears to be a 1/12 count yarn. 

This is a classic weft wool produced by Scottish mills in the mid-20th century.
