This listing is for a set of tubes of vintage Scottish tweed weaving yarns. 

We have four tubes, with weights ranging 8.4-9.4 ounces. The two heavier tubes are presumed to be just about their original weight; the other two are slightly used.  Together they add up to 35.5 ounces, including the cardboard tubes. We estimate the total yardage at about 4,800. It appears to be around 1/14 count. 

These tubes are all unlabeled, so we don't know the exact details, but they are vintage Scottish, woolen-spun weaving yarn from the mid-20th century. It is a mildly coarse wool, but not as coarse and hairy as our tweed wools. 

This is a classic light tweed wool produced by Scottish mills in the mid-20th century. 

The color is a heathered green.
