We aren't sure what this wool is, but we know that it is soft and pretty. It is a thoroughly blended melange of brown, gold and gray fiber, appearing brown from a distance, but with a subtle variegation up close. The photos don't really capture the range of tones. The hand is soft, suggestive of Merino wool, but we can't be sure.

Although the picture shows a braid, we are selling this unbraided in bags.
