Handspun Alpaca / Merino wool yarn, DK weight, 425 yards - Foggy Moors 1

$42.50 USD

Quantity Available:     1 only

This yarn is a shade of lavender gray, like a fog bank.

This listing is for one 2-ply skein, weighing 5.8 oz., spun at an average of 1170 ypp (yards per pound). These 425 yards wrap at approximately 9-12.

This fiber is a blend of 70% alpaca and 30% Merino, creating a yarn of great strength, warmth and durability. The greater density of the alpaca makes it heavier than a comparable wool yarn. It should be suitable for wearing next to the skin. It is a very soft and cuddly yarn.

My skeins are wound on a full 2-yard niddy-noddy. If you don’t have a large swift, let me know. Spun in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
