Carisbrook was a yarn distributor and importer from the latter half of the 20th century. They focused on affordable, good quality yarns for small weavers and mills. 

This cone is from the Fashion Range line. It is 100% carded cotton, in a yellow colorway called Sun. It is not mercerized. The cone weighs 37 ounces, and is estimated to be about 5,900 yards.
