Lily Mills was at the center of the American weaving yarn industry for most of the 20th century, until their closure in the 1980s. They were renowned for the quality and consistency of their products.

This yarn is an unmercerized cotton in an 20/3 format. It can be used in many different weaving projects, and is suitable for both warp and weft. It can also be used as sewing machine thread. 

These cone weighs 17 ounces,  its original weight. The estimated yardage is 3,350. They likely dates from the 1970s. We have one cone still wrapped in its original plastic, and one that is bare. 

This cone is a standard pink color.
