This is a soft, slightly hairy yarn made from 100% alpaca. It is handspun in Peru. This item has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

The balls are not labeled with weight or length, but Internet sources suggest they should be 50 grams and 90 yards. We find that these balls vary in weight from about 40-50 grams. As it is handspun, it would be normal to find some variation from one to the next. 

This is a gray and white barber pole color called checchi, or checked.
